How to Password Protect PC Drives.

Applying direct password to disk drives is not possible. However you can secure a specific drive by using the following easy steps.

Steps:

1-First of all, make two user accounts. One of them should be the administrator and password protected and the other should be the standard(no password). (You can manage account in control panel>user accounts)

2-Now, open the properties of the drive, you want to protect.
3-In Properties, select Security tab.

Now, click on EDIT and remove all the accounts except the administator, SYSTEM, and your account.
Remember to remove the other standard account from this list.
Click okay.
Now to check that whether you followed these steps acurately, log off your account and log in with the standard one(having no password). You will be unable to open the protected folder.
Hope this helped you.
